Stop Doing $15/Hour Tasks in Your $100K+ Business

The AI system that finally got me out of the weeds. Free workshop.

I had lunch with some friends in real estate a few months ago. Between bites of fancy focaccia, they straight up CRINGED when I brought up AI.

“We’re trying to spend LESS time on our computers,” one said. “The last thing we need is another tech tool.”

I couldn’t help but dive into AI Educator mode. Because here’s the thing—they had it completely backwards.

AI isn’t some evil robot overlord trying to chain you to your desk. It’s actually your ticket to freedom.

Saving 10+ hours every week using custom AI assistants isn’t some fantasy. It’s exactly what I’ve been doing for over a year now—and it’s completely transformed how I run my business.

That’s not just faster work. That’s freedom. Time to take that pottery class. Pick up your kids early. Book that trip to Italy you keep scrolling past on Instagram.

Isn’t that why you started your own business in the first place?

Let me show you exactly how to make this happen.

What Are the Biggest Time Drains in an Online Business?

The tasks stealing your hours are usually repetitive, necessary, and soul-crushing—content creation, emails, student support, and sales copy top the list.

Before I built my AI systems, here’s what my week looked like:

  • Content creation for social media, emails, and podcast — Easily 8-10 hours
  • Writing and prepping materials for courses and products — Another 5-6 hours
  • Answering student support questions — 3-4 hours of the same questions over and over
  • Writing sales pages and landing pages — Hours of staring at a blank screen

Sound familiar?

I remember finishing a podcast episode and then wasting HOURS on show notes, catchy titles, social captions, email newsletters, SEO optimization, and organizing assets.

Now? I just record the episode. Drop the transcript into my system. Then grab a matcha.

The work agencies charge $2,000 per month for? My AI assistants do it for about $20.

Let that sink in.

How Do You Actually Save 10 Hours a Week with AI?

You stop using AI for random tasks and start systematizing the repetitive work that steals your time every single week.

Here’s the move that changed everything for me:

Track your “repeat tasks” for one week. Get brutally honest about what you’re doing over and over again.

For each task, ask yourself: “What’s my standard process for this?”

Then build an AI assistant that handles 80% of the work. You review, tweak, hit publish, and GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE.

That 60-minute task? Now it’s 10 minutes. BOOM.

My girlfriend in real estate spends hours writing up listings. I showed her how an AI assistant could do the same thing in 10 minutes. And the descriptions were actually better—because the AI analyzed her best-performing listings and nailed her signature tone.

She just stared at me. “This would give me my Mondays back.”

HELL YES it would.

Why Do Most People Use AI Wrong?

They treat AI like a magic search engine instead of training specialized assistants for specific tasks in their business.

I spent the last year watching smart business owners completely botch their AI strategy. They try a few prompts, get mediocre results, then declare “AI doesn’t work for my business.”

Total BS.

The problem isn’t the AI. It’s how you’re using it.

Here are the three worst AI mistakes I see daily:

First, people treat AI like a magic search engine. They type “write me a blog post” and expect gold. Would you hire a writer without telling them about your brand voice? Your audience? Your unique approach? Of course not. Yet that’s what everyone does with AI.

Second, they use one-off prompts for everything. Every chat is like talking to someone with amnesia. The AI forgets your entire business with each new conversation. So you waste 20 minutes re-explaining everything. Every. Single. Time.

Third, they use general AI for specialized tasks. It’s like hiring a handyman to perform heart surgery. There’s a massive difference between a general AI assistant and one specifically trained to write podcast show notes, draft LinkedIn posts, or create sales emails.

The entrepreneurs seeing the biggest ROI from AI aren’t using generalist systems—they’re using specialized AI assistants designed for specific tasks.

What Tasks Should You Automate with AI First?

Start with content creation—it’s where most entrepreneurs waste the most time and where AI delivers the fastest wins.

Here’s what my AI assistants handle:

Content Creation (Social + Email + Podcast)

I used to spend hours writing and editing emails. Now I voice dump an idea to my assistant and it drafts a version that’s usually 99% of the way there.

Don’t get me wrong—I still check everything. But I catch the last 1% and that’s it.

Then I take that email and turn it into a podcast script, carousels, reels, whatever—all in my exact voice and style, literally in seconds.

Hot take: The key here is that your IDEAS and STORIES must come from YOU first. AI executes second. Your original thoughts, unique stories, and hot takes are what differentiate you from the sea of AI-generated sameness out there.

The process should be: You identify the idea → brain dump the story → THEN your trained AI assistant structures and polishes it.

AI should never be the source of your ideas. It should be the vehicle that gets them out into the world faster.

Course Materials and Product Prep

Creating comprehensive course materials used to take forever. Outlines, transcriptions, visuals, downloads, resources—all of it.

Now AI makes creating these materials dramatically faster. I still bring the expertise and the teaching approach. AI handles the heavy lifting of structuring and formatting.

Student Support

This one’s a game-changer. I built AI chatbots that answer the same questions I was typing out over and over again.

The result? Students get faster answers. I get hours back. Everyone wins.

Sales and Landing Pages

Writer’s block on sales copy was real. Now I have an assistant trained on my highest-converting pages that can draft copy I actually want to use.

It knows my voice. It knows what works. It even knows which objections to address.

What Does a Real AI-Powered Week Look Like?

Picture this: It’s Tuesday morning, you’re sipping coffee, checking over polished content your AI assistant drafted in seconds.

You make a few tweaks. Hit publish. Move on with your day.

There’s no panic. No burnout. No 47 tabs open trying to do all the things.

Here’s what changed for me once I set up my AI systems:

  • My nervous system is more regulated than it’s ever been — I have more breathing room, more creative time
  • Almost no “omg I need to hop back on my computer at 9pm” nights — Because the work is done
  • More CEO mode, less in-the-weeds mode — I’m focused on strategy, not repetitive tasks

One of my students, Courtney, just built her podcast bots—and scripted, recorded, produced, and scheduled a whole podcast episode in under 35 minutes. Over 20 of those minutes were just her recording the thing.

Another student, Ashley, used to spend hours a week writing blog articles. Now she’s knocking them out in minutes.

This isn’t about saving time just to do more busywork. It’s about creating space.

What Should You Never Outsource to AI?

Big picture thinking, creative direction, thought leadership, and storytelling—these must stay human.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth about AI everyone’s afraid to say:

If you hand over your creative vision to a robot, you’ll end up sounding like everyone else. Generic. Forgettable. Bland.

The stuff that makes YOUR brand magnetic? That comes from you.

Keep these firmly in your lane:

  • Strategic decisions — AI can analyze data, but you make the calls
  • Original ideas and hot takes — Your unique perspective is your competitive advantage
  • Personal stories — AI wasn’t there when you had that breakthrough moment
  • Relationship building — Real connection requires real humans
  • Creative direction — The vision for your brand lives in your head

AI is the ultimate execution partner. But you’re still the creative director.

Think of it this way: AI handles the boring work while you focus on what actually matters—real connections, real deals, real life.

How Do You Build AI Assistants That Actually Sound Like You?

You create a comprehensive Brand Book that captures your voice, audience, and offers—then train your AI assistants on it.

I had a full-on fight with ChatGPT when I first started. Every draft sounded like some corporate marketing manager wrote it.

“We’re excited to share our revolutionary strategies that will help you navigate the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing.”

🤮

I kept tweaking prompts. Adding more details. Explaining my brand voice. An hour later, I was still editing robot words, trying to make them sound human.

That’s when I realized—I was doing it all wrong.

The problem wasn’t the AI. It was that I hadn’t given it the right blueprint of ME.

So I created my Brand Book. I documented everything—my voice, my audience details, my offers, my content style—all in one place.

Next time I sat down with AI, I fed it this document first.

The difference was WILD.

The AI suddenly wrote emails that sounded like me. It created captions that captured my tone. It even knew which stories to reference and which words I’d never use (looking at you, “girlboss” 🙄).

What’s the Fastest Way to Get Started?

Pick ONE repetitive task, document your process, and build a specialized assistant for it this week.

Don’t try to automate everything at once. That’s a recipe for overwhelm.

Here’s your action plan:

  1. Track your time for one week — Write down every task and how long it takes
  2. Identify your biggest time drain — What’s repetitive and soul-crushing?
  3. Document your process — How do YOU do this task? What’s your voice? Your approach?
  4. Build one specialized assistant — Train it on your specific way of doing things
  5. Test and refine — Your first version won’t be perfect. That’s okay.

Once you nail one assistant, add another. Then another.

Before you know it, you’ll have an entire team working for you—at a fraction of the cost.

Ready to Build Your Own AI Team?

The right AI tools aren’t another digital ball and chain. They’re your escape plan from behind-the-screen burnout.
