The AI system that finally got me out of the weeds. Free workshop.

Are you overwhelmed by the thought of creating your own sales page for your online course?

Have you created one and then walked away with no intention of making tweaks if you find it’s not converting?

I can definitely relate! Creating sales pages can be a ton of work and sometimes you just don’t know what you need to include to get people to buy!

In today’s episode, I’m taking you through my five MUST HAVE sales page elements that lead to more conversions!

Make sure you stay tuned to the end where I talk about some amazing resources that will help you even more!

You work hard to get people to your sales page. Social media, emails, podcast guesting, maybe ads. But if the page doesn’t convert once they land, all that effort is wasted. I’ve had sales pages convert as high as 15 to 20% on cold traffic straight from an ad, and it comes down to getting the right elements on the page. Not the fanciest design. The right elements, clearly laid out. It can be black and white with a couple of simple graphics and still sell like crazy.

Here are the five your sales page needs.

1. A section where your ideal customer feels seen

Most people skip this because it’s the hardest part to write, and they jump straight to pitching the offer. Don’t. Open by describing the exact problem your customer is living with, so specifically that they’re nodding along.

Say you teach real estate agents to grow on Instagram. Their problem: they don’t know how to land clients or sell homes through social. Name that, right at the top.

Then paint the after. What does life look like once they’ve solved it? DMs full of people wanting to work with them, real engagement on the properties they list. That transformation is what you’re actually selling.

2. Trust, credibility, and social proof

People buy from people. They want the transformation, but they also need to know you’re a real person who knows your stuff, not a scam artist. A short bio does it. Not your life story, just enough to establish why they should learn this from you.

Then prove it works for others, not just you. Testimonials, client wins, case studies. Think about Amazon: when you hit a product page with zero reviews, do you buy? You go back and find something else. Same on your sales page. The more real proof you show, the higher it converts.

A video of you helps too. It doesn’t need to be at the very top. Just get on camera, share who you are, who the course is for, and maybe a quick peek inside.

3. An irresistible, well-rounded offer

People assume a course is just a stack of video lessons. Show them it’s more. Do they get a workbook, templates, swipe files? A community? Coaching? Guest expert workshops? Software discounts? List all of it.

A digital product is different from buying jeans you can touch. So you have to make the value visible. Use bullet points, get specific, and use mockups: a graphic of the course on a laptop screen, an image of the workbook. Those help people picture what they’re actually getting.

4. Pricing options in a pricing table

Giving people options increases the conversion rate of every option on the page. Offer a pay-in-full (say $500) and a payment plan ($97 for six months). You can also add a VIP tier at a premium, with something extra like bundled courses or a one-on-one call.

That high tier does something clever: it anchors the price, making your pay-in-full and payment plan look like a great deal by comparison. Think of a yoga studio: a single class, a 10-class pass, or an unlimited monthly pass. The options nudge you to spend more, and they feel good doing it.

5. A guarantee

Everyone’s radar is up for scams online. A guarantee lowers the fear that keeps someone stuck on the fence. For most of my products I offer a 7-day, 100% money-back guarantee, because I stand behind them.

You don’t have to. You can run a no-refund policy since it’s digital, but then say so clearly, and point people to the FAQ or to email you before buying so they know they’re a good fit. Either way, the goal is the same: reassure them this is a safe purchase.

Quick recap

Your high-converting sales page needs: a section where your customer feels seen, trust and social proof, an irresistible well-rounded offer, pricing options in a table, and a guarantee. Go pull up your own sales page and see which ones you’re missing.
